| Experience: | Took six AP classes in high school from sophomore to senior year, attaining 3-5s on them. For SATs, scored 650 on critical reading, 610 on math, and 640 on writing.
Graduated top 15 percent of my 400 student body class and maintained high average to be in the National Honor Society. Took rigorous courses in both high school and now in college and have experience mentoring/tutoring through a local program called Big Friends which works with middle school kids who come from broken families.
I am interested in tutoring because I love passing on the knowledge I have to others and I love helping people learn to their satisfaction/ability. While in high school I used the local tutors that were available in my school and I know they made a big impact on my education. Therefore, I would like to pass that impact onto others.
I am currently taking psychology, business mathematics and accounting. I have also taken numerous courses in statistics, history, english while in college. |
